What's the difference between credits and a storage plan?
Credits pay for generated and upscaled images. You buy credits as needed, and they never expire. A storage plan is a separate monthly subscription for saving more finished images in your private gallery. Buying credits does not increase storage. A storage plan does not include image credits. You must complete one credit purchase before you can start a paid storage plan.
How much storage do I get for free?
Every account includes 500 MB of free gallery storage. That is roughly 65 to 70 finished 2K images. You only need a storage plan if you want to keep more than that saved on our servers.
What do the storage plans cost?

- Plus: 5 GB, $1.99 per month, about 700 images
- Pro: 25 GB, $4.99 per month, about 3,400 images
- Max: 100 GB, $9.99 per month, about 13,800 images
Do I have to subscribe to use Crisp2K?
No. Crisp2K does not require a monthly subscription for generation or upscaling. Each generated or upscaled image uses one image credit. Downloading the finished image costs nothing extra. A monthly storage plan is only needed if you want to keep more images in your online gallery.
What does Enhance Prompt do?
Enhance Prompt uses DeepSeek V4 Flash through OpenRouter to rewrite your description with useful visual detail. It costs $0.01 each time. You see the improved prompt before generating and can edit it or restore your original. The first confirmation includes a Don't show this again option. That choice is saved to your account.
Are my stored images private?
Yes. Every stored image uses AES 256 GCM encryption. Only you, while logged into your account, can view or download your gallery images. Search engines and other users cannot access your gallery.
What happens if my storage plan ends or a payment fails?
Your credits are never affected. Your stored images stay available for a 16 day grace period. You can view and download everything during that time. After 16 days, your account returns to the free 500 MB plan. We then remove the oldest stored images until your gallery fits within 500 MB. Images that remain can still be viewed and downloaded.
What happens when my gallery is full?
We do not delete images to make space for a new one. If you ask Crisp2K to save a new result while your gallery is full, the request stops before processing and no credit is charged. You can delete an old image, increase your storage, or try again without saving the result. Automatic deletion only happens after a storage plan ends and the 16 day grace period expires.
Can I change storage plans later?
You can switch between paid storage plans from your account page. Stripe must confirm the change before it takes effect. If you move to a smaller paid plan while your gallery uses more than its limit, your existing images stay in place. You cannot save new images until you delete enough images or choose a larger plan. The site does not currently provide a button to cancel storage or return to the Free plan.
How do I pay?
Payments are handled securely through Stripe. Credit packs accept cards. Crypto may also appear when Stripe makes it available. Monthly storage plans currently accept cards. Crisp2K does not receive or store your full card details.
Do unused credits or storage roll over?
Credits never expire. They stay in your account until you use them. A storage plan sets your gallery capacity. Storage does not collect or roll over from one month to the next.
